Samneh is my new favorite item in my fridge. I tried it just on toast first and it was incredible. I made rice with it. I cooked eggs in it. I mixed it into saag paneer. I didn't think ghee could be improved but this is somehow nuttier and such a flavor bomb. Phenomenal.

Game-changer for rice! I sautéed diced onion and a bit of minced ginger and garlic in a generous amount of samneh before making basmati rice as usual. Incredible flavor!

This samneh product has a delicate, almost floral scent to it, but when used for cooking, it is just like regular ghee. I have not tried it smeared on bread 'cold' but plan to. So far, I have used it with rice, eggs and vegetables, but I don't notice any particular taste or seasoning from it. I'm not disappointed, just surprised how much like 'plain ghee' it is. I would (and will) buy it again!
